I am Jana (monicker Phhsh), a Latvian illustrator based in the UK. I studied illustration at the University of Plymouth. I love working in both digital and traditional mediums, especially with watercolors, gouache and oils. My art often explores mystical themes and folktale stories, blending peaceful, calming scenes with darker backgrounds. I also enjoy using metaphor in my illustrations, adding little touches of symbolism to bring extra meaning to the work.
